Plasticizers

    Plasticizer production, particularly phthalate esters like DOP and DIDP, involves complex reaction and purification steps that generate viscous, sticky by-products requiring effective solid-liquid separation. JOECHRE filters are used in both crude and clean ester filtration stages to remove residual alkaline salts, pigments, and active carbon after bleaching. Compared to traditional vertical leaf filters, the system significantly reduces filter aid consumption and improves discharge efficiency. Systems can be configured for batch or continuous operation with dry cake discharge and support high filtration rates even with challenging viscosities and solids content.​
